Getting started
Is Tourah a paid app?
Tourah is free to download. Free and premium experiences are available within the app.
Which format should I pick?
Pick a scavenger hunt to play with friends or family, a guided walk to follow a route with a local voice, or an audiobook to listen from anywhere. See the formats page for a side-by-side comparison.
Where can I play today?
Tourah is live in Klagenfurt today. Browse all experiences to see what is available.
Playing
Do I need internet?
Yes. Tourah currently requires an internet connection to access experiences and features within the app.
How does GPS-based auto playback work?
Tourah uses GPS to automatically trigger audio playback as you approach each stop. To use this feature, location services must be enabled in your device settings.
Can a group play together?
Yes. One purchase covers the whole group on one phone.
Do audiobooks need GPS or walking?
No. Audiobooks are not tied to a route and can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere.
Creating
Can I create my own content on Tourah?
Yes. Tourah is open to local creators who want to publish their own experiences and travel guides. The Creator Guide explains how it works, or write to us at contact@tourah.com.
What does it cost to sell an experience?
Tourah keeps a 30% platform fee per sale. The app stores and payment providers add their own fees on top.
