Building Blocks

A plain-language guide to the fields and concepts you'll find across all experience types.

Experience details

These are the basics you fill in for every experience, found under General Information in the admin tool.

Name — The title your experience shows up under in the app. Keep it clear and specific — users scan quickly. Maximum 64 characters.

Language — The language your narration and text is written in. Set this once at the start; it can't be changed later.

Estimated duration — How long it takes to complete the experience. Be honest — users trust this to decide whether they have time to start.

Narration — The description shown on the overview and purchase screen. This is your pitch to potential users: what is this experience, and why should they do it?

Cover photo — The main image representing your experience across the app. A landscape-oriented photo works best here.

Gallery — Additional photos shown on the experience detail page. A few strong images tell users a lot about what to expect.

Topics — Tags that help users find your experience when they search or browse by theme. Add everything that genuinely applies.

Attractions

Attractions are optional extras you can attach to any stop, chapter, or location. They're for when a particular detail within a stop deserves its own moment — its own name, its own narration, its own set of images.

A good rule of thumb: if you're cramming too much into one stop's narration, an attraction might be the right place to put the overflow.

Recommendations

Recommendations are tips you can add to a stop — nearby places worth visiting. They show up on the map with a small icon.

Point of interest — something nearby worth seeing

Restaurant & Food — a café, restaurant, or market

Bathroom — a public restroom (more useful than it sounds, especially on longer walks)

Each recommendation needs a name, a short description (a sentence or two), a type, and a location — which you place on the map in the admin tool.

Voice settings

The platform can generate spoken narration from your written text using an AI voice. Under Voice Settings in the admin tool, you choose which voice will be used for your experience.

Pick your voice before you start generating audio — this setting can't be changed once it's been saved.
