Content steps and chapters
A step where players read, look and listen, wherever they are. In an Audiobook, every chapter is one.
On this page · 4 sections
A Content step has no place on the map. You add it as Read or listen in Add step. In an Audiobook, you add a chapter, and the Studio makes it a Content step for you. The step page shows the editor straight away, with no tabs. Save keeps all your changes, Discard removes them.
What players see
Players see one screen. From the top, it shows your cover image and the name, the narration player if the step has narration, and your sections in the order you set. Under the sections is the app button Continue. You can’t edit this button.
When to use it
Use a Content step to tell the story between places. For example, use it for an introduction, a story or a break between two places. In an Audiobook, use one chapter for each part of the story.
What makes it To fix
Nothing. A Content step is never To fix. Empty sections are allowed.
Fill in the step
Edit the cover image, the name and the sections in the phone, as Content editor shows. To give the step a voice, read Narration and voice. To change the order of the steps, go to the Overview.
